It would have been a better Driver- which allowed better resolution- but was not compatible with IE-11 My Browser would not even open!!! The fix was done by starting the NAV/NIS program, selecting the "Support" menu, and then selecting the "Get Support" menu option. If this behaves properly, it could be an add-on that is causing the issue, so open IE > Tools (press Alt if the menu bar is not showing) > Manage add-ons Ergo, something Norton did is breaking my IE11. I googled this and learned that it had given other people the same problem recently, and that support for it had ended in 2011! I uninstalled the software and IE is running now.
