Request was from Mathieu Malaterre
The reason is obviously that we don't want FOP to crash on this, just log an error message if the SVG extension could not be properly initialized. This quick patch fixes that. I would say XSL-FO is not easy to learn and test, however there are XSL-FO editors for a very reasonable price (less than the price of a book), see for example http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.text.xml.fop.user/28751 A warning is enough, and debug info with complete stack > trace should be made available. > This quick patch fixes that. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.2#6252) Error While Initializing The Batik Svg Extensions Now i am using Java jre1.5.0_06 to ensure that Java version will make no difference. Maybe we can try to convert your test results with fop-0.92? Just had to link xml-apis-ext.jar -> xml-apis-ext-1.3.04.jar in /usr/share/java/batik.For reasons I don't know, they have started to include the version in the file names but not in /etc/fop.conf. Why ? navigate here To see the complete code, click FopSource/examples/.../.../ExampleXM2PDF.java Note : Well, the above points were based on my experience and exposure, if you have something new or see something misinterpreted, then please

I will try to find this jar and add it to app.

Thanks!! Need a different document, you need a programmer to change code. The only thing I can think of that would have made a difference was the fairly recent jdk update. Checkout DisplayTag features and see how it is using iText for PDF How is it like writing a simple HelloWorld text printed PDF document generation using iText ?
